What type of yarn did you use for these, did you join each round? I tried these out and they didn’t look anything like yours. They had a really long cuff for the ankle portion. Maybe i slip stitched at the wrong spot? Any help would be great!
Hi there! I used caron simply soft, it’s a light medium weight yarn, very soft for those little baby tootsies. I used an H hook. You have to make sure you count your rows. When you get to row 14 you slip stitch to form a very basic slipper. That is the only time you will slip stitch. From that step you will start building the little leg cuff. The leg cuff should only be 2 rows of single crochet. I did join each round. I hope this will help you out.
I tried reworking them again and came out with a very large opening for the ankle. I am going to use a smaller hook and see if that helps. I really love these so I am determined to make them work!

I crochet very tight so a smaller hook may help you. I hope it works out.
